  • Anos 70, 80, 90 Before CBP

    The history of CBP is closely linked to the history of its partners. Since the 1970s, the patriarch of the Koury family and his wife helped consolidate in Brazil the then emerging polyurethane foam technology, opening their first factory, Sanko, in the 1980s, followed by Celuplás in the 1990s.

  • 1995 the embryo of the company

    The combination of technical expertise and commercial strength led to a new strategy of synergistic operations across the Industrial Foams and Mattresses divisions. Operations began in the warehouses of the former Celuplás factory, located in Monte Mor/SP.

  • 2002

    CBP was founded in 2002, focusing on the production of Industrial Foams and Mattresses, with Celuplás as one of its own brands within the company’s portfolio.

    Construction and inauguration of the new headquarters in Monte Mor/SP.

  • 2005 - 2006

    CBP strengthens its presence in the mattress sector, establishes partnerships with the country’s largest retail chains, and consolidates itself as a market reference.

  • 2006 - 2008

    Inauguration of the 60-meter ANKO500 continuous machine and loopers.
    Consolidation as one of the key producers of mattresses and industrial foams in Brazil.

  • 2007

    Acquisition of the Brazilian branch of the Argentine company Limansky in Bento Gonçalves/RS, becoming CBP Sul.
    Production of Inducol and the American brand King Koil begins.

    CBP achieves its first quality certification, ISO 9001:2000.

  • 2010 - 2012

    CBP becomes a leader in supplying foams to the furniture industry.
    Expansion of CBP Sul, doubling production capacity in Bento Gonçalves/RS.

  • 2014 - 2015

    The company advances its expansion strategy with the inauguration of a 44,000 m² industrial complex, dedicated to the production of mattresses and industrial foams.
    CBP Sul consolidates as one of the main companies within the Bento Gonçalves furniture hub, while the King Koil brand expands its global presence, with CBP recognized as one of its main manufacturing units.

  • 2016

    Inducol consolidates itself as one of the most well-known and wide-reaching brands in the country, with Sabrina Sato as brand ambassador.
    King Koil begins its national expansion, with production also starting in Monte Mor/SP.

  • 2017

    Consolidation of the Corporate Governance process, professionalizing the company’s executive management and preparing it for the future.
    CBP is certified by INMETRO for innerspring mattresses.

  • 2018

    Entry into the bed-in-a-box market (compressed mattresses).

    CBP is the only company in the segment to receive dual ergonomic certification - Chiropractic Brazil and Spine Institute (ICV).

    Simultaneous launch of the new King Koil Brazil line alongside the United States.

    Inauguration of the first exclusive King Koil stores.
